Phoneme Fun!

In Walnut class today our Phonics focussed on different ways of spelling the same sound. 

                                                  

     

We enjoyed a game on the whiteboard sorting words with the 'igh' sound. 

Can you remember all the graphemes (letters that make the sound)?

   

We went out into the playground to play a matching game using the different phonemes (sounds). 

                            

It was great fun finding people in our group by only saying our sound out loud!
