Firstly we looked back over our last piece of writing and decided what we needed to improve upon today. Then we spent some time thinking about how to structure a letter and planned what we would write.
Then we wrote! We kept looking at our special cake to make sure we were including as many elements of good writing as we could.
We even listened to tropical island music while we worked!
There were some brilliant results. Some of us who had worked especially hard got to share our letters with the class.
