Year 2 Pilgrimage ~ Part 1

We went on a very special journey this afternoon, The Hajj, A Muslim Pilgrimage!

Mrs Peterson spoke about what to pack, can you remember what was in her bag?

            

Then, it was shoes and socks off to begin our walk, seven times round the Kabah, in Mecca.

                             

The pilgrims, run between two mounts called Safa and Marwa. 

We exercised for 5 minutes, so we could feel how hot and thirsty they might become... and how much their feet may be hurting!
